HISTORY OF HULT INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SCHOOL
Hult International Business School has its roots in a bold vision to transform business education through global experience and practical learning. The school’s story began in Boston in the 1960s, when it was founded as the Arthur D. Little School of Management - the world’s first business school to focus on the practical application of management principles. It was later renamed Hult International Business School in honour of its benefactor, Bertil Hult, whose passion for experiential learning shaped the institution’s direction. Over the years, Hult expanded beyond Boston to establish campuses in London, Dubai, New York, and San Francisco, creating a truly international network of learning. Today, Hult continues to evolve, uniting innovation, entrepreneurship, and global collaboration to prepare leaders ready to make an impact anywhere in the world.

At the postgraduate level, Hult offers globally recognised programmes such as the MBA, Executive MBA, and Master’s degrees in International Business, Finance, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship, all designed to develop leaders who can drive change across industries and cultures. Hult’s dedicated Career Development team supports students in finding internships, building their professional network, and preparing for future employment. While internships aren’t a formal programme requirement, they are highly recommended, and students can even earn academic credit for completing one. These experiences not only strengthen your CV but also allow you to apply classroom learning in real-world settings.

The vast majority of students are employed or continuing their studies within six months of graduating. Across both bachelor’s and master’s programmes, about 9 out of 10 graduates are in work or further education. Many find roles internationally, and some start their own business. The Career Development team supports you with internships, networking, and job search so that you have strong prospects when you graduate.
